About Me

My work experience has started as a part-time Jr. UI Designer, while I was studying Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Marmara University (Istanbul) in 2012. I was educated well in computer graphics, software development and designing educational materials based on computer technologies. Studying Computer Graphics lead me to develop a real affinity for UI Design, hence following my degree, I decided to peruse a field I am genuinely passionate about, which is why I am a UI/UX designer and not a Teacher or Developer.
I designed many mobile apps for IOS and Android which some of them from scratch and some of them are re-design. Besides that, I involved in many multi-platform projects; responsive websites, desktop apps and UX audit with design teams in IT companies.
I graduated from Computer-aided Art and Design Master's program, Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 2019. The subject of the thesis was to compare two (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) UI designs in Virtual Reality Environments (VREs) in terms of usability by conducting usability lab studies.
Outside of work, attending meetups provides me an opportunity to network, share and develop my own knowledge.
In my personal life, I love to spend time in nature, do sports, pay attention to healthy nutrition, cook, drink wine and enjoy discovering good restaurants in multicultural Berlin.

The Design Approach

My approach usually starts with examining the project within 2 phases of UXPA(User Experience Professionals Association)’s UX/UCD (User-Centered Design) process which also fits the HCD (Human-centered design) process.

Analysis Phase

I usually follow these steps in the analysis phase to clarify the project outline.
