The parent company of MARKANT Group, MARKANT Handels- und Industriewaren-Vermittlungs AG, is based in the Swiss municipality of Pfäffikon. They offer industrial and retail partners numerous services and professional solutions for optimising decision-making and workflows as well as access to quality-checked private brands and high-quality selections of fresh fruit and vegetables for those who need it.
The requirement was implementing existing visual style guide and UI design of desktop version of Intranet into tablet and mobile size. I came up some interaction design ideas and implemented into UI design.
I worked close to my project manager and art director. I enhanced the UI design according to feedbacks from client and my art director.
I came up with idea of or horizontal scroll of news section on dashboard. The grid based approach and topics has been implemented into tablet and mobile.
I used the advantage of saving space with the horizontal swipe gesture. So, I could keep similar pattern on viewport as like the desktop and added more dynamism to the page.
Showing some part of the navigation menu and providing the rest of items with "More" button is more discoverable than hamburger icon according to NNGroup researches. So, two versions of navigation has been suggested to the client.
The content has been placed according to desktop version and UI design has been implemented into tablet and mobile.
